Having always been a "people person" and loved to travel, it only made sense to incorporate the two. In August of 1998, I founded Travel Dreams from the ground up and fulfilled a "Dream".
By December 2000, I was honored to be named the "Enterprising Agent" featured in "Leisure Travel News". Most recently, I was awarded the award for "Caribbean Creativity in Travel for Special Interest/Niche Travel" by the Caribbean Tourism Organization/Travel Agent Magazine at the 2005 Caribbean Tourism Conference in St. Thomas and once again at the 2006 Caribbean Tourism Conference in Puerto Rico. Our focus is being involved with reputable affiliations, pursuing continued education and certification, and first-hand experience. I have gained invaluable knowledge of the Caribbean through my affiliation with the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO). I have recently been elected as President of the CTO Greater Philadelphia Tri-State Chapter , which brings my commitment to the Caribbean one step further.
My completion of the requirements to become designated as a Certified Caribbean Destination Specialist, Silver Certified Sandals & Beaches Specialist, Aruba Certified Expert, Cayman Island Specialist, Grenenda Specialist, Bermuda Specialist, British Virgin Islands Specialist and Puerto Rico Travel Expert have provided me with an even more indepth knowledge and relationship with the Caribbean. My personal and professional travels have allowed me to experience destinations to match the personality of a destination to your wish list. As a Silver Certified Sandals & Beaches Specialist, I am required to be attend mandatory worshops and seminars on the properties, and have had the pleasure of personally visiting each Sandals and Beaches resort in the Carribbean.
The steps to become an Accredited Cruise Counselor provide a wealth of cruise knowledge through required course instruction, ship inspections and sailings on board a variety of cruise ships (yes, another "difficult" task). Once again, ongoing first-hand knowledge and experience of all the cruise lines are so valuable and are passed along to each and every one of my clients.
Maeva! Welcome! Expanding my destination knowledge even further, I have recently completed an intense training program to become a Tahiti Tiare Specialist. Tahiti is a beautiful destination, and becoming a Tahiti Tiare Specialist once again arms me with the knowledge and contacts to make Tahitian Dreams come true!
Adventure Travel is one of the most popular vacation opportunities out there for all ages. Additional specialist trainings completed include the South Africa Fundi Specialist program, Costa Rica Specialist, as well as being recognized by the Adventure Travel Council as a certified Adventure Travel Specialist
Becoming an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner and Graduate of the College of Disney Knowledge was easy - not hard work when you love something. Upon receiving my "Graduation Ears" from the College of Disney Knowledge, I have made it a priority to continue my onsite education, both profesionally and personally, on both land and sea.
